Treading water

That's what I've been doing today! I arrived at work to find the surgery and waiting room ceilings dripping water.Water was coming in through the light fittings, over the electrical equipment and soaking the carpets and chairs. Very few areas escaped entirely. A joint in one of the water pipes belonging to the flat above had sprung a leak. The neighbours, the landlord's maintenance man and the letting agents were all very helpful and we should be able to go in tomorrow to get everything back in place ready for a full day's work on Thursday
