Run for it

There is a petition up in Bridge of Allan over the newly imposed parking restrictions limiting it to half an hour.
 
Locals and shopkeepers are up in arms about it and you can see from this photo why.
 
The streets are devoid of people. Yet there are reasonable parking spaces.
True, this was late this afternoon and it was drizzling.
 
 But the argument goes that half an hour gives you no time at all for shopping and certainly not for eating.

And this wee Victorian spa town is all about shopping and eating.
