Where the Light Gets In

Silver water

glittering water
flowing between lush green banks
mesmerising me

500 metres added to my walk today, after sending my first ever professional translation to my client. :-) My cousin Nicolas sent me an email to tell me that he had talked about me to someone in a translation agency that is currently aiming to expand its pool of translators. Yay! I'll contact him tomorrow, as today was (yes, another one) Bank Holiday (Ascension Day).

Good time talking with quite a lot of people at the Lion d'Or, including Cédric as they've just come back from their trip in the western USA.

On my walk back to my car I once more engaged with a stranger; this time it was a local man, and we got to talk about dogs, as he was walking Nino (see extra), his young (1 year old) border collie/golden retriever cross. :-)

A bit of housework in the afternoon, a bit of cooking for dinner (veal steaks with mushrooms and cream and home made fries).

A set of canal side black and white photographs taken today is in Flickr.
