The widows old homes

Got around in Westland, what's close to my surroundings but I don't visit often.

Here a view into the court of the Holy Spirit, with tiny old houses close to the main church of Naaldwijk. Since the 16th C such houses for the old were realised in many cities by the rich and churches as charity works. Most of those courts with tiny houses were meant for women at age and they then could live there for free, altho' they were supposed to lend a hand to eachother there. Nowadays one can rent or buy such a courthouse that often measures 15m² up till 40m² ~ so tiny!! Still, it's mainly the single woman (student or 50+) who lives at these premisses.
A friend, divorced from her man, moved into such a court some time ago and she discovers the does and don'ts of such a closed setting... a tiny house and than social control as a bonus?! Not my piece of cake!
