Run Princess Run

Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,

Run day! Amazingly, the weather conditions were perfect - cool and overcast.

Rod and I ended up running together and it made a huge difference having a running partner as the lulls don’t seem as bad when you have company. We both had a moment of feeling slightly jaded at 9 miles but then we saw The Prince and Eldest Mini Princess which was brilliant. It gave us such a boost. We did it in 1.55 so we were completely buzzing about breaking the 2 hour barrier. I am expecting a call to join the Olympic team any moment now!

The Normals went out for dinner and a celebratory pint to The Old Bell (which was as far as I could hobble, whilst holding onto The Prince). It was a perfect end to a great day.

PS. I possibly shouldn’t have tried to reverse the car into the drive before eating something. In the fight between the post and the wing mirror, the wing mirror definitely came off worst (see extra).
