Thriving

Campanula cochlearifolia, an old friend from the Alps, running riot across two adjacent raised beds.  Established a few years back from seed, this is a plant that loves to run, between rocks, through screes in the mountains.  Here it loves the loose, gritty soil in these beds.  I'm chuffed to have such a colourful display.  It's not a thug, simply filling the gaps between other plants.  Champion!

Dentist for me & Jamie - all clear - and later a violin rehearsal during which I walked the teacher's dog.  Jamie learns and I get exercise so we're both winners :-)

At the last count Jamie's grandma had been waiting seven and a half hours for an ambulance to transport her into hospital for re-hydration and tests :-(   Not sure what tomorrow has in store but hospital visiting may be on the agenda.
