Snake Bark Acer

It was off to Peebles for ‘gardening club’ this morning, a bit further afield than normal but it was lovely to escape the fog and mizzle and enjoy exploring J’s garden. The bark on this acer was particularly striking.

This afternoon I had a driving lesson to learn big scary roundabouts, the bypass and motorway driving - all stuff I didn’t ever do in my lessons. Tomorrow will be my first solo run to Gogarburn (whilst parking at the airport P&R), eek!

We decided last minute to head out for supper and bumped into the lesser spotted Sparserunner (and Livresse) having a celebratory family meal.
