Health saga

 
Progress continues- had two walks around the garden and the District nurse came in and removed 37 clips. She confirmed what I feared. They were put in with a stapler.
 
She also confirmed what had gone wrong with my postoperative care: there was a breakdown in communications at our local health centre in Bridge of Allan.
 
The letter from the Golden Jubilee hospital which M handed in never reached the District nurse.
 
The first she knew about it was when I rung up Monday morning to see what was happening.
 
The letter had got stuck in the Health centre’s admin pipeline. Yet the District Nurse had an office in the same building as the Health centre.


So I ended up with an unnecessary night in Accident and Emergency in Larbert hospital and a visit from the NHS 24 hours doctor- both unnecessary.
 
 Meanwhile a visit from the district nurse would have solved the problems.
