Quiet contemplation

Artist Catherine Froy enjoys a moment of quiet contemplation with some of her work in Dunblane museum.
 
 
I popped in to see her this afternoon, having missed the opening.  The light airy setting of this gallery suits Catherine’s ephemeral, delicate work.
 
Catherine has a distinguished art background having studied at both Goldsmith College and the Slade School of Fine Art.
Born in the south of England she moved to Scotland in 1989 with her husband . Her work follows  in a certain strand of traditional  English abstract art. 
 
   
She has a painting  in Stirling University Art collection and recently undertook a painting residency in Sweden.
