Doing the Haka

Today we travelled over to Hull to watch the  1st international test rugby League match between England and New Zealand. Julie had won a pair of  tickets so we travelled over there on a cold damp day. As you can see from the extra we had a great view as we was sat directly in line with the half-way line. My main blip is of the New Zealand team doing their traditional Haka , which is a Maori war dance just before kick off. Not the best of shots as I only had my small camera as on the back of the tickets it said no large baggage , but they was doing plenty of bag checks  where people had them so I probably could have took it with me.
It was a very good enjoyable game in which England won 18-16 so that made the trip even better. We have tickets for the 3rd test in Leeds in a couple of weeks time.
Back home now getting warm and relaxing  ready for another day out tomorrow this time birdwatching so fingers crossed its a bit warmer but I can't see it been. Enjoy your weekend and all my fellow UK blippers don't forget to put your clocks 1 hour back tonight.
