Blackhall Library

This is the library I used to go to when I was a kid. There is a small garden at the front with chairs to sit, the trees are lovely in blossom. And inside it is built around in a square with a small open garden in the middle which you were allowed to sit in when there was a reading event.

Despite being on one of the busiest roads in Edinburgh it was quiet enough to read & study.

I got an 'invite' to a Remembrance Service at Mum & Dad's Church. As a non churchgoer, I dithered, but I'm glad that I did go. I hadn't been in the church since I was a teenager, although I have been in the cafe many times in the past.

Lit a candle in memory of Mum, Dad & my Brother & chat to the Lay Preacher & family friend.

On the way home I bought some flowers & chocolate eclairs as a treat for myself.
