Slaughterhouse + desolation

See detail here in my photo of yesterday

The slughterhouse of Epecuén was designed by Engineer Francisco Salamone in 1937 following the Art Deco lines that characterized his work. An Expressionist tower and an attractive brick fireplace stand out. After the floods suffered in 1985, the work is in ruins.
Inaugurated on December 3, 1938, it was an emblem of the time, whether due to the originality of its Art Deco designs or the appearance of new industries in rural areas, such as large-scale slaughter with a mechanized system, health analysis and control, which until now had been very rudimentary.
