Scramble

...or, as we call it in Scotland, stramash.

Falkirk have won only three league games this season, all away from home. Their first was against Alloa Athletic, so hopes were high (relatively, anyway) that we would repeat the result when the Wasps came to Westfield in the return fixture.

Within the first 28 minutes Falkirk had scored twice and were looking comfortable. It all looked good. However, just before half-time, a defensive mistake allowed Alloa to score and it was all downhill from then onwards.

With about 15 minutes left in the match, Alloa were awarded a dubious corner kick. The ball was played into the penalty box and after an almighty stramash (pictured) Alloa equalised. It was no more than they deserved, and Falkirk got what they deserved too.

Back at the bottom of the league.
Oh well, another home game next week.
Can't wait. Actually, I probably can.
Maybe next season I'll ask for a restricted-view seat.
