War Horse

I took Gulli and Erin to see War Horse at the National Theatre, we were 4 rows back in the stalls, great seats, brilliant production, very moving, the life size horse puppets are brilliantly lifelike.

In other news Zebedee has gone and got a tattoo on the back of his neck, I’m so upset, I can’t believe a tattooist would agree to doing this, I know he’s 18 and it’s not illegal but really? It’s his first tattoo, a large 9 pointed angry looking black star, logo of the heavy metal band slipknot. I knew he was thinking of doing it and he asked my advice, he said he was getting a small store behind his ear, I strongly advised against it, I said he should get it somewhere that was easy to cover up the clothes or even try wearing a transfer for awhile to see how he liked it, it somehow feels worse that he has totally ignored what I said. I found out about it on the train home from the theatre by looking at Facebook, thanks for that. I messaged him and told him I did not want to see it when I got home. I need some time.
