BRIEF ENCOUNTER

Hello all

Had a lovely relaxing session at Tai Chi this morning followed by a lovely lunch at the Yew Tree Barn in Low Newton with Gladders wifie.

Then got back to more computer problems - just very slow and some sort of hybernation problem.  Have now arranged for someone called John Parry to come and look at it for me on Thursday (my next free morning) and maybe upgrade it too.  Hope he's good!!??  I had got a little bit of unexpected money which I'd hoped to spend on photographic equipment, looks like it will have to be the laptop now - oh well - I'm so relaxed after Tai Chi that "what will be will be".

I can't remember whether I've posted a photo of our little Kents Bank station before so have decided to pop down there after meeting with Gladders wifie to take a blip.  

We are lucky in Grange that we two stations, Grange-over-Sands itself and then Kents Bank, which is now part of Grange.  Hubby is part of the volunteer team that keeps the station ship shape, some do gardening Hubby does maintenance, for the bits the Network Rail don't want to know about!!!

The theme for Mono Monday is "content" - will kind of - 'cos we have a foreshore to this station which looks out over Morecambe Bay and I get very contented sitting then on a nice warm sunny day.  Even when waiting for a train you get a fabulous view to look  until the train comes in, so very contented there, despite Northern Rail's attempts to madden a person!!??
