Sunday: Grand Canyon

We picked up a hire car this morning and left Las Vegas relatively early. We drove through some spectacular scenery, stopped off at a roadside diner for a late breakfast, before arriving in the Grand Canyon National Park.

I can't even begin to summarise the scale of it. If you're so inclined, you can look closely at the top left hand corner of the picture where there is a small person in red. That will give you a bit of sense of scale.

I never thought this was something I would see.....
