Magical Persia

There is something magical about this miniature hand painted hunting scene painted on ivory, something I picked up years ago in an antique shop during the Hay Book Festival.
 
Its one of a pair and little is known of their provenance exempt they are  believed to be early 20th century and to have been sold as a souvenirs from the city of Isfahan in Persia, now Iran.
