Petrified Forest?

Well the pigeons aren't fearful so why are the tree trunks? Hey ho . . . 
Have had a magical day today - Terrifo and I had a mini blip meet in Porlock Weir with Kathy (Chantler63), John and the delightful Pepper dog. We enjoyed time wandering around the harbour area before yummy cake with coffee.  Thereafter we headed for Bossington to a NT car park and walked to the salt marsh to see the 'petrified forest'.  Quite a stroll but lovely in the fresh air, no rain and a little sun trying to get through.
Oh and we managed to squeeze in a cream tea before we headed home across Exmoor.
