My 'Friends' are very nearly all people I know in real life, my family, a few longstanding friends and people I walk or climb with... I don't need to do Facebook to find out what they're up to, and from now on I'm not going to. 

Unfortunately, because I manage the page for Skyline MC, I can't totally come off Fb but I mostly can. I'm not on Twitter, Instagram or any of those other social media platforms, only Blipfoto - but that's different!
