Wide awake
Apparently insomnia is a rare side effect of cortisone injections, but I'm one of the lucky ones who got it. I did not sleep even a minute last night, despite doing everything I could think of to make it easier for me to drift off, and tired as I am, I know I cannot nap. Poor Minkelina was trailing after me all night, as I moved from the bed to the recliner and back again and again. I hope tonight isn't a repeat of last night - I can go just so long without sleep, and I don't feel it's safe to go outside, much less to drive. So I'm blipping a photo I didn't take today of a unique flower growing on its own in Lex's garden. It's the only one of its kind, and we have no idea how it got there.
