A Big Day! 1500

It's the 4th of July-- our U.S. birthday. No tanks or military stuff here in New York. We are one of the original 13 states. My home flag has been hung out on the front deck. It is a replica of the flag first hung in Oxford when we became a state in 1783. I have confidence we will be okay, no matter what comes.

Going to be It is still morning and a hot 88ºF (31ºC). Could reach 90º+.
Thanks goodness we are not out there on the Mall in D.C. listening to our Bloviator-in-Chief. Could easily get near 100ºF
This is my BIG Blip Day with 1500 entries for Miss Winterfinch.
And, we are still celebrating Gracie Twinkle-toes'  9th birthday. So, she poses artistically for our blip today since she has been a blipping member all most of her life.
She is sleeping through the heat right beside me as I post this.
