THE EYE OF A HORSE
The morning mist stayed the whole morning, but at lunchtime there appeared blue in the sky and we drove to the Diemelhöhe for a nice walk.
While we arrived there the donkeys were led from a meadow to a sand field. The farmer woman told us that they had eaten enough, donkeys, she said, grow easily fat.
We walked past the Krukenburg ruin and followed the climbing road till we reached the plain. From there the road went down again and we looked for the horses of the Karl May farm. At first we did not see any, but then we saw three horses in a field, and one of them was interested and came near us. That is is the horse in my blip.
We followed the road and decided to walk further to the south, because the sun shone and it was pleasant to enjoy the warmth of it.
At some point a young woman with a dog came towards us and told us that the road was blocked. We were curious to see the spot where the road ended, because we wanted to see how the works on the new road from Herstelle to Deissel proceeded. A bridge would be build over the new road, and we could see the deep hole that was already there and more to the west big craned and lorries stood near the road to Langenthal for the work in progress. An extra photo of what we saw in the distance.
We watched it for some time and then we took the same road back to the donkey farm.
