Onwards and upwards

Fairly straightforward day in the office with lots of 1-2-1 meetings including with TK to plan a workshop we’re doing with him in May.  Mistimed the end of the day before going to the theatre so ended up having supper at the City cafe even though I wasn’t very hungry but then into the long performance of Nixon in China. Wasn’t sure I’d enjoy it but it was spectacular - a brilliant production and really rich score. Always struggle a little with more modern operas but I like John Adams so apart from being very tired by the time it finished I enjoyed it.
