Good news

There is a surprising bit of good news in our local paper, Stirling Observer, today.

The number of coronavirus cases in our area,
Forth Valley is lower than expected. Today its 259 new cases in a population of 306,070, nothing like the exponential rate predicted.

There is no explanation offered except the suggestion that maybe we are more obedient in following orders to stay indoors. But I doubt that.
Still it is an odd fact thrown up by this virus.

New shortages: hair-cutting scissors and dried yeast. Impossible to buy.
