I seem to have finally mastered crochet!

After waking up in the night to a sneezing fit which turned into a protracted nosebleed, I didn’t feel very rested when I got up this morning.

I’ve spent most of the day on the sofa feeling sorry for myself with hit and cold spells and generally feeling meh. So it seemed a good time to try and get started on the blanket I had planned to make on our Spanish holidays but which never made it out of the sewing bag.

I watched a couple of videos and on my fourth attempt at this square I think I’m finally getting somewhere. As it’s pretty small I thought it would work for Tiny Tuesday - thanks to wrperry for hosting. See extras for the pattern. My first square is the one with the red circle!
