LET'S FACE IT
I sat quietly on the couch and in the chair opposite of me a cushion stared at me, not really with piercing eyes, that is true, but it was for the first thing as I can remember anyhow that a cushion seemed ready for another contact than merely being useful for a soft support. Due to the studying of the Dada movement (I have just finished Marcel Duchamp, I am going extremely slowly nowadays) I look with different eyes and see amazing things appear. (No no, no alcohol or drugs are necesarry for such experiences). In the extra photos I show a photo of the ostrich which we saw Monday in Lippoldsberg.
This Saturday it stayed dark and cold, but after lunch we drove to the Forellenhof for our walk. A wonderful walk in the forest. There were signs that there could fall dead wood on your heads. Due to the new policy of letting the forrest look after itself. At some places there were enormous ravages. We reached the stone font, simply lying along the footpath. We always sit on the bench nearby and enjoy the freshness of the wood.
Where earlier the excavations could be seen, everything has been abandoned and the plants do cover the stones.
Back at the road we saw a man and woman who were searching for their direction and they came to us and asked where the excavations could be found. And they also wanted to walk back over the Sohnrey Höhe to our town. Without a map? Impossible. We only could show the direction and hopefully they choose the right thing to do.
What was strange too was that the woman of the pair did not keep her distance and we kind of stood kindof amazed. Piet Hein said that in the fresh air in the wood, it probably did not matter.
