Blue Monday....

Took advantage of a) continuing good weather b) not working and c) easing of lockdown restrictions to take to the hills with a picnic lunch.

We headed up to Loch a Choire which nestles under the summit of Ben Vrackie and headed round it and over the Bealach between Pitlochry and Killiekrankie and home. 

It was great to be out once again and we were rewarded with grand views of hills with snow patches in the north and the Lomonds to the south as well as fine views of town itself. 

The path wasn't too busy, although we did encounter one group of about 7 adults and same amount of children. They at least stopped to let us pass at a suitable social distance. 

Now sitting in garden enjoying the sunshine and where more irises have opened up.
