Reservoir swimming

Phew! We are not used to this heat in Scotland.  After an afternoon tea party social distancing in the patio we went up to the local reservoir.

There, lots of young people and their dogs were swimming, picnicking and sunbathing in the heat- 26C.

Unfortunately large areas around Cockburn reservoir were covered in litter.  There are no litterbins because the reservoir is privately owned by the local fishing club and most of the time it’s very quiet, apart from the occasional fisherman, and some walkers.

For me it was something of an event. It’s the first time I have been up to the reservoir this year since I had my new knee and hip. Good to report that all went well. So that’s another box I can tick on my road to total rehabilitation and full mobility.
