Stunning day of two swims

Thanks to everyone for the kind comments, stars and favourites for my greedy dolphin shot yesterday. It even made the popular pages - a rare and exciting moment for me :-)

It's been another stunning day of wall-to-wall sunshine in the far north. Mr hazelh and I dedicated the day to swimming. First we visited Plodda Falls, where (brave) Mr hazelh (but not I) took a dip, and we ate our picnic lunch.

Then we drove up Glen Affric to Loch Beinn a'Mheadhain. Here both of us took to the water, swimming lengths back and forth across the loch to the 'island' (in reality a peninsula) opposite our wee beach (blipped).

By this time we were ready for further refreshments, so we retraced our route to the Tomich Hotel for afternoon tea in the garden. The waiter who showed us to a table was very apologetic that all those with parasols were already taken.

This evening we played Carcassonne (I won - hurrah!) and enjoyed our last dinner at our hotel in Muir of Ord. Tomorrow we head for the islands.

Exercise today: swimming (4 'lengths' in the loch).
