Back to Mazda

Well, that was quick. Fault on my MX-5 roof diagnosed on Monday. Tuesday I had a call to say the part (Window Switch Assembly) was in and when could I go back for it to be fitted. Booked in for today and off we, Jonty and I, went. Booking was for 14:00 and I really expected to be at least two hours because the local garage had told me it would be a loooooonngg job.
I took a bag with a flask of coffee, mug, HOG (Harley Owner Group) magazine, and a couple of RBL magazines, dog lead and water bowl. I took Jonty's water bowl although last time one of the salesmen got him a bowl of water.
We enjoyed a run around a nearby stretch of grass and went back and waited. Jonty again was a hit with the staff, he's a bit of a charmer is our Jonty.
An hour and a half after we arrived the young lady, Sally, on service reception came over to tell me it was all done. Not as loooonngg as I expected, especially as they had also put new disk brake pads on both front disks as well. It cost a bit more but I feel very confident with what they did, and as a bonus Jonty and I drove back home with the roof down and in blazing sunshine.   :-)
