Deep Pink or Purple

Furlough Day 142, 02.09.20

This flower has been growing in a pot of flowers for bees I planted a few weeks ago, but its the first time I've found it to be open.  It seems to close at night or if the sun isn't out...  I have no idea what it is?  Is it wild?  


I was tempted to enter this shot for the Wide Angle Wednesday challenge, but it is not a wide angle shot!   However a book title came to mind - The Langauge of Flowers by Margaret Pickston.  I have a copy somewhere, but can't find it - its probably in the piles of books from the bookcase I emptied the other day!

Unexciting day, I've painted a wall with sockets and light switches on it, then just pottering with housework and odds and ends.  Its now pouring with rain and has gone very chilly.

Slimming World class a bit later, then I think I'm going to order a takeaway!
