Disappointing delivery

I wasn't impressed with my latest delivery from Amazon. Left behind the car while out. It wasn't supposed to be delivered until tomorrow or I would have stopped in and waited. It's quite an expensive audio mixer and not to be lost!

I wonder what rights you have when parcels are left in the doorstep? Knowing big business it will probably be difficult to get any recompense. I did try to report the delivery but seemly no options for saying I wasn't happy about where the parcel left.

If only there were local shops that sold this sort of thing. It would be worth paying a little more to look and touch before buying. To be fair, I reckon that they may not be more expensive if purchased locally. Alas small town England does not cater for all interests very well so I'm forced to purchase on line. With the lockdown rules we shouldn't venture very far so can't visit a nearby city to purchase such things either.
