On the Penguin Trail

Sad to be going back to Christchurch today, wish I could have stayed longer in Akaroa.

On my way home I called into the library at Te Hāpua: Halswell Centre to track down a few more Penguins and Waddles.

The Big Blue Penguin at the Top is Rocky and is created by: Justine Ottey
Design Inspiration
Rocky is a water bird’s eye view. It is inspired by the inhabitants and habitat that are a corridor for penguins between land and sea around New Zealand’s coastline. The style of the artwork draws on natural forms and abstract fluid shapes from this environment.
