Abstract Thursday ....

... mysterious.

Okay ... we all can see that this is a coil of some kind.  But what?  Answer tomorrow ...

We had a very busy day filled with appointments and anxiety.  I'm so grateful to have a wonderful husband that is willing to take time off from his busy work schedule to go with me to my appointments.  ♥

Several weeks ago I got a message from the hospital that I was eligible for the COVID-19 vaccination.  This came as a pleasant surprise as I thought my eligibility would come later this summer.  The hard part was securing an appointment to get it.  Luckily ... this same hospital was running a drive-thru vac clinic at a local amusement park's parking lot (Dorney Park) and I was able to get an appointment. I've put together a collage which is in the extras.  Sorry for the needle phobic blippers out there! My booster shot is scheduled for April 1 as another drive-thru clinic at this some location.

My next appointment was with a surgeon.  The results from the endoscopic ultrasound were not all favorable and my doctor referred me to a surgeon.  One of the pancreatic cysts is VERY mucinous and should probably be removed.  The good news is there is NO sign of any cancerous cysts but this large one has the potential.

I wish I had left the surgeon's office with a clearer picture of what to do but he didn't come right out and tell me to remove the cysts.  I guess that's a good sign but I'm still not comfortable knowing this cyst could develop into cancer.  I've had my share ...

More on my decision later as I haven't made one as of yet.  The surgery would be major ... even though it's done robotically ...  and would require several days in the hospital.

If you've read to this point ... thank you!! ♥
