Wednesday

This afternoon I went up to the attic to try to dig out my box of ancestry research when we were in it big time in 2006. Eventually found the box and what treasures lay inside! Stuff I’d long forgotten about . It’s a while since I read the Summons and Proof for the Divorce brought by my grandfather and presided by Lord Wark In Edinburgh 1933. Jeez my grandmother was brazen!

Also found three albums of old photos which were put in the attic yonks ago. I am so uninspired re photos of what’s happening now cos their ain’t much so I’ve delved into the past again.

Here is my grandpa in the signal box at Blackford looking very handsome I must say. All the Cowper brothers (11 of them) were tall, slim and handsome. Not sure of the year but he retired in 1955.
