First Bee

We have lots of bee activity on the Skip Laurels now that they are in bloom. 

While doing this flower photography course, I purchased a 60 mm Laowa f/2.8 lens which allows for 2:1 magnification, and a 2.4-inch minimum focus distance, manual focus only.  This is the first time I have given it a try outside and I was absolutely amazed at how sharp it is.  Obviously, this was not taken at 2:1 magnification as I don't think the bee would have had any part of that.
