Severn Bridge

After a morning at work we collected my parents and set off for Wales. Their oldest and dearest friends live too far for them to get to alone so we volunteered to take them thereby getting a couple of days off work and the promise of great walks in the Brecon Beacons !

Crossing the Severn bridge and discovering signposts in a language we don't understand made us feel that we were "abroad" and on holiday !

Our B&B is Ty Croeso at Crickhowell a fabulous place, a boutique hotel in the middle of rural Wales. We've been out and had a delicious supper - roasted monkfish on a lemon, pea and rocket risotto. Accompanied by a cheeky little Sauvignon Blanc called Tinpot Hut from New Zealand. All well !
