Two sides of the road...

...I heard a lark in the morning as I blipped, and you might just be able to spot a lapwing wheeling in the lower pic...
On the derelict side the fence has gradually been getting more decrepit, but the piles of stones suggest some remedial work might be planned.
On the opposite side the drystone wallers have been busy already - and they have done a very neat job!
A beautiful day, mainly in the garden. Nice to see the village isn't as crowded as we expected - I guess people can go elsewhere now ;) The farm was doing a roaring trade as we passed though - even the overflow car park was getting full...
