Wye Walk

Year 2 Day 73 of UK COVID-19 Pandemic.  First UK Vaccine 179 days ago. England & Wales open. Minor restrictions. Overseas travel seriously restricted.

Mrs BB and I, did a 9 mile walk about fifteen minutes from home, starting at Foy, Nr Ross on Wye (Herefordshire) which was a circular route around the River Wye. Beautiful weather and stunning scenery all the way. The blipfoto shows the river at How Caple with the fishing hut and canoeists, where we sat on the bank enjoying the peace and taking in the beauty. The Red Arrows shooting past in formation was the only interuption! The extra is Mrs BB on a rope swing a bit further on from the fishing hut.

At the 7 mile stage in Sellack, we sat on the river bank where a few families were picnicing and swimming. Mrs BB had packed her costume and enjoyed a quick swim. Lovely weather for walking and hard to believe we are so fortunate to live in a stunning area.
