A grave sight

Some days just don't make the grade and this is one of them! A dull start, and I had a phone appointment with the doc around noon, so I tinkered around outside, tidying up and sweeping leaves off the deck - rather like being on board ship, apart from the trees!

After lunch I decided to walk down to the town to pick up my prescription  - I don't seem to be doing that walk as often as I used to, usually as something else in on. Stuck my head out of the door  - it didn't look too bad so I slipped on my fleece and set off. I was hoping to see the  Catamaran style ferry MV Pentalina which is doing berthing trials in Oban and Craignure today - there's talk of acquiring one for the Oban-Mull route. Unfortunately she had been and gone by the time I got down. I took this picture of Oban & Kilmore Parish Church as I walked through the churchyard on my way to the chemist.

Queued up outside the chemist - prescription not ready. It started to rain. The young pharmacist came out and asked if I'd like an umbrella, but I said no thanks as I was standing under a tiny corner of the roof. Got soaked on the way home - grrr! I should know by now!

Quote of the day:

Henry Wadsworth Longfellow – “The best thing one can do when it's raining is to let it rain.”
