On a bike ride made for TWO!

You can imagine, this is such a rarity, I made the absolute most of drafting. It was quite a treat doing a short ride too.

This afternoon, I did a bit of gardening and found a ladybird larva on my thumb so I carefully moved it to the other side of the garden and the jasmine where I watched it devour about five aphids.  I don't know if the others could hear the crunching but they were marching down the stalk pretty sharpish which had me feeling a touch guilty.

On the same note, over three nights, I've re-homed more than 300 slugs and snails to the front garden - incredible for such a small space.  They'll have an epic journey if they want to return, although I did find a whopping snail knocking on the door the day after the first clearance (he's now got a couple of whopping friends).  Admittedly, there aren't as many new shoots to be had but it's a good home and hopefully a bit of extra food for the hedgehogs which haven't made it to our patch in the back garden for some time.

Things are already getting nibbled less.
