Shoot and Run

Maybe shoot and fly!  I only had one chance before it took off again.  It had been fluttering about, and I had time to go back inside to get the camera, and it was still there when I got back, but not for long.  The wingtips are rather sharp, but the middle is fuzzy.  It could not keep still.

This also happens to be the only shot I made today.  It didn't rain.  In fact, it was a rather sunny day and I did think of hitting the road, but this little beauty gave me a good excuse to practice contentment.  There'll be another day to go out.

And did you notice that although its wings are torn, it still looks amazing and can fly perfectly?  Wouldn't have hung around and then taken off otherwise.  There's a message somewhere in there.
