Awaiting the Final

I went into town this morning for a paper and to look round the Sunday market. It was a nice sunny morning and I couldn't resist my first gelato from Harris & James which opened in Holt a few months ago. The 'ice cream man' in the deckchair looked to be wearing an Italian scarf, so I balanced the blip up with an England flag which was hanging in the butchers window. I enjoyed the men's final today at Wimbledon, another match where both players were tense. And well done to Djokovic for getting his 20th grand slam title, equalling Federer and Nadal. So good to have Wimbledon back this year. And congratulations to Richard Branson on his first Virgin Gallactic 'space flight'.

Good luck England tonight against Italy in the Euros final at Wembley.

Day 482 / Day 56 of Step 3 of Roadmap Easing (for my record only)
The Vaccine Minister says the Govt will issue guidance that people will still be 'expected to wear masks in indoor, enclosed places' after 19th July - good to see that one of them can get the tone and message right. The Health Secretary warns that NHS waiting lists in England could reach 13m in coming months - a horrendous level for a country with a population of 55m!
