On cheesecake...

In the mood for a tortuous analogy? Of course you are…

Say you spent a long while preparing and baking a really good cheesecake? You then pass that cheesecake to someone for safe keeping with the intention of sharing it with them, only for them to become distracted and carelessly drop it on the floor, whereupon it disintegrates into mushy mess.

Despite your devastation, you scrape up the remains, tidy the mess left behind by the massacre and then begin work on creating a whole new cheesecake. However, based on your previous experience, you would be a little wary about who you shared your next cheesecake with and perhaps even be a little reluctant to do so………wouldn’t you?

Yet again, my unwillingness to share the cheesecake I’ve been carefully prepping has been the source of pain for others, which is not right or fair, so access to it needs to be restricted to the dominion of close friends and family.

It is clearly not ready to be shared any wider than that just yet.
