Having a stretch

Woke up this morning to find there was a torrential downpour. By about 9:30 it was easing off and by the time I came out of the supermarket it had stopped altogether.

I had not intended to go to Johnston Gardens, but as the rain had stopped, and it was roughly on my way back I though I might as well.

The moorhen was still on the nest, her partner was bringing things to her. Not sure if it was food or more adornments for the nest.

This duck decided to stretch his wings so that was a good opportunity for a Blip. After the torrential rain the water in the pool is a muddy brown colour. I have altered the colour of the water in this image, the duck himself is unphased unchanged.
