Moorhen

Summer returned today with sunshine and warmth. I presume the moorhen was pleased about the improvement in the weather. She was not doing much when I went to check up on her today. Two of the earlier offspring were paddling around, and I caught a glimpse of dad standing on a rock in the water preening himself.

Thankfully the water has cleared compared when I was there after the rain a couple fo weeks ago.
