Day out

Up with Phin just before 7.30. He’s so much better at waiting for someone to come down in the mornings but I will be glad when the mornings are darker again as I think he will sleep later, at least I sure hope so!

Did some housework and sorted out the spare room ready for tonight’s visitors. Mr PHL’s brother and his wife had called during the week to ask if they stay over as they had tickets for Let’s Rock at Dalkeith country park. It’s an 80’s themed day of music and easier to stay over than drive home to Paisley. They hadn’t arrived by the time I needed to leave to head to Susan’s so I didn’t get to catch up.

Susan and I had a late lunch booked before going to see K’s play. Lunch was nice, we found a sunny spot at a cafe to have a glass of wine too before heading to the venue. It was almost a sell out and I think I enjoyed it more second time around. They all did so well.

Brief chat with Mr PHL who was waiting outside to collect our kitchen table (and various other props)!and a wee snuggle up with Phin (who was allowed out of the car to meet the cast and various other friends (wee rat managed to slip his collar and lead off and hared off down the street but luckily was caught before he went too far!) before Susan and I headed back to her house. I was staying over as I’m helping at a charity event on Sunday and her house is very close to the location. 4.45 start for me!

These guys keep me company when I’m staying over.
