Yesterday the children did the second stage of their painting challenge. The first stage was to draw a painting onto blank puzzle pieces. The drawing had to be done collaboratively with all the blank puzzle pieces kept in place. The second stage was for the children to individually paint their own puzzle piece. Today, I put the pieces together.

Does anybody recognise the painting the children were attempting to reproduce? I think they did very well - better than any Year Four I have done this with - but it isn't a famous painting so I will be surprised if anybody guesses it.
