Weight loss journey progress report 12092021

Better than expected with a standstill despite not meeting exercise goals and not achieving calorie deficit of 500 most days
Starting weight (25 May 2018= 273lb)
Today’s weight 196.0 lb
Last Sunday’s weight 192.6 lb
Average weigh last week = 192.6 lb
Average weight this week = 192.6 lb
No change in weight average for week: standstill
Note: I weigh every day first thing and calculate weight loss based on average weight for the week

A year and twenty fourweeks of lockdown and 51 weeks home from hospital since discharge after stroke and I have to report a standstill in terms of weight. I had expected to gain a substantial amount as I have not met exercise goals and most days I did not achieve a calorie deficit of 500. In addition I was out for coffee twice. Exercise has taken a back seat as I have been otherwise occupied. Firstly since my stroke my eyesight has been deteriorating and a visit to optician revealed I needed lens replacement surgery and consultations and making arrangements for this took considerable time. Secondly I had problems with an online order with Premier Man. I was informed it was delayed but when something arrived it was something I had not ordered (a back support and they insisted my order of 3 pairs of trousers and 2 pairs of trainers had been delivered and they had charged my debit card for these goods. I was hours on chat with them and several hours on phone. It was only when I involved bank fraud squad that I got a refund. It was the most atrocious customer service from Premier Man. Wish I had read Trustpilot reviews on them before I had ordered as poor customer care and non delivery of ordered items is the norm. It’s amazing that I did not gain weight over the week but today’s weight is 3.4 pounds heavier than last Sundays. I should be able to record a small loss or standstill at worst in the coming week should I start meeting exercise goals againand record calorie deficits avoiding treats and white carbs:that is my goal
I hope you all have had a good week and that you are all keeping safe and fit in these uncertain times. I hope the easing of the lockdown restrictions, the problems caused by the new peak in COVID cases and the threat posed by new COVID variants, especially when mitigation measures are being relaxed, is not having too much of a detrimental effect on your scales.
