A day in the life

Scenarios

If you've been following me for a while you know I'm looking for a place to call home. Somewhere I know I can stay and somewhere to develop it into something I can call my own. I've been looking at lots of such places through the last year, flats for rent, flats or houses for sale and I've followed tips from my friends or my network.

This house in the blip could be what it quite often look like. Someone in my network has seen, what looks like an abandoned house somewhere and contacts me -"look at this place, could that be something?" Quite often it could, but then I know I'll have to find the owner, prepare myself for talking to them and then, in ten out of ten times listen to why they don't want to rent or sell it to me. In this case I've just found out from the last person renting it that it might be owned by the church and that it's probably going to be torn down for some reason. The church has a special department for all their flats and I am to call someone called Ola, or something, who is "probably in charge of their houses in this area, but I'm not really sure". Well, the house has a potential so I'm going to spend a couple of hours tomorrow trying to trace down Ola, or someone, and probably is going to hear him or her say that they only last week decided to demolish the house and that there's no way of changing that decision. Or, they'll say, "Oh, it would be so nice if someone would like to take care of this house, it's really in a too good a condition to tear down and we would really like someone to live in it instead".
I've had this scenario so many times now and I really don't feel like going through it all over but then again, there might be a small possibility...
